I hope that you are all keeping well in your bubbles. Distance learning is now well underway and our teachers have been keeping me up-to-date with how many of you are doing a great job engaging with the online learning programme - mahi nui koutou!
The last few of the requested devices will be delivered today. Make sure you give today’s delivery team - Mrs Allan and Mr Aspden - a big wave and a smile when you see them.
Today’s update includes some postponements and cancellations of upcoming events: It is with regret that I inform you that the 2021 AIMS Games has been cancelled for this year. I know this will be a disappointment to those people who have worked so hard in preparation for this event. For more information please visit their website https://nzaimsgames.co.nz/
We have postponed the 2022 Year 9 Information Evening scheduled for tonight. Once we are safely back in Alert Level 2, we will hold this evening. Meanwhile, if you have any questions about enrolments for 2022, please don't hesitate to contact us at [email protected]. A reminder that new enrolment forms for the 2022 school year are due into the office via email on or before 4:00pm Wednesday 15 September. You will notice that we have extended this deadline due to the Alert Level 4 lockdown.
I hope that you and your whanau are enjoying the distance learning opportunities that have been made available to you. Please keep checking in with your classroom teacher if you have any questions. All contact details can be found on our new website www.berkley.school.nz
We look forward to tomorrow’s announcement and will update you with more information as it becomes available to us.
Be safe, stay home and be kind.
