Kia ora Berkley whānau,
Like me, you will have been excited about the move to Alert Level 3 Step 2 at 11:59pm tonight and the return to retail shopping! At Alert Level 3 Step 2, school and learning will continue the same so today’s update will be quite short.
We continue to have an impressive level of engagement in distance learning. Please be in contact with your child’s classroom teacher if you have any questions at all about the learning programme. Teachers and teams continue to work hard to create programmes of work that are developmentally appropriate for the emerging adolescent and are a best fit for their specific class of learners.
As before, the majority of Berkley learners will continue to engage in distance learning from home. For those parents and whānau who need to return to work and can not make alternative care arrangements, please contact your child’s classroom teacher to start the process of joining an onsite school bubble.
Stay safe, stay positive and if you can, take a moment outside to enjoy the sunshine today.
